However, speaking to Newcastle World, financial expert Kieran Maguire highlighted the significant expenditure Newcastle has already made under PIF ownership. “Newcastle’s owners have shown a clear intent to invest heavily in the squad, and that hasn’t changed,” Maguire stated. “The fact they were willing to fight to keep Isak, even amidst his desire to leave, sends a strong message.”
